Up Up We Go
Top of Mount. Washington. For some reason, I was tired this day and I guess I was all so having "memory lose" that day too. I seriously could think much of it at the time for some reason. But I can remember some incredible views. The last time bubba and grandma went to the top of the mountain the visibility was only 4 feet. But luckily it was the perfect weather and the perfect day to go because it was clear as day (it's rare to have a clear day). We could see 5 states and 1 country from the very top. New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, and Canada. we were able to see 131 miles away from the top of the mountain. We were 6,288 feet high the air pressure was a lot different than at the bottom, and there were no trees up because there is not enough oxygen. There were lots of other mountains in the view and hills of snow. Bubba and I had a snowball fight, some snow fell down his shirt, so he jumped around some because of it. Never got to experience snow at the end of May. But of course, Bubba had to have his fun and pushed me into the snow so then I can be all wet, sadly I couldn't push him in. I made a snowman, now I can say "I made a snowman on one of the highest mountains." and I also got some rocks too. After an hour up there it was time to go back down. It takes about 45 minutes to get up as well to get down. Someone was also from Michigan. Then we stop at a waterfall on the way home I climbed about halfway up. then we went back to our campsite to drop grandma off then we started to climb up a mountain to go see another waterfall. It was 1.2 miles long to get to this waterfall (everyone doesn't go by a mile in the mountains they go by time). 1 hour to get up there. It took us 1 hour and 20 minutes to get up there, with lots of breaks. my legs hurt so bad getting up there, they were already worn out from getting up halfway because I already climbed another waterfall. Also, I twisted my ankle, so that hurt. But after 1 hour and 20 minutes, we were up there. It wasn't really worth walking up at an angle up the mountain to see a waterfall. We stayed for about 20 minutes to rest and watch the waterfall. We head back down, it was all downhill from there with no stops, so we got done with going down the mountain in about 45 minutes. That was our day, very exhausting but fun at the same time.
